Carson Arnold ϟ 6th year ϟ FC: Molly C Quinn ϟ TAKEN
Carson has one fear that governs almost everything that she says and does. It makes her think long and hard about the words that come out of her mouth before she says them, it forces her to turn down offers to skinny dip in the lake or participate in a snowball fight between classes, just for the hell of it. Her fear makes her lay her clothes out the night before, perfectly pressed and in good order, and pushes her to dress up even on days when everyone else is dressed down. It urges her to shy away from theatrics and instead address issues with a calm and collected voice, and causes her to look down on others who do let themselves do crazy things or wear fun clothes or scream through the hallways just because they can. She doesn’t know how to stop it though, because how does someone stop being afraid of being looked at like a little kid when, in fact, she still is one? While other students are trying to hold on to the last remains of their childhood before they’re forced into the world, Carson can’t wait until she’s old enough that her parents, her older brother, and her insanely successful sister stop looking at her like she’s still the eleven year old who was afraid to go to Hogwarts, and instead see her as the bright and capable witch that she wants to be.
